Senator Obama is being SOLD to the American people by NBC, MSNBC & CBS - because NBC/MSNBC are OWNED by GE & CBS is OWNED by Westinghouse.
GE & Westinghouse along with Excelon Corp. of Illinois (& others) are planning to build 29 new nuclear power plants. No new nukes have been built in the U.S. for the past 30 years because banks would not loan money to build them - too risky. (NY Times has several articles & a map showing locations of the 29 planned nukes).
Senator Obama voted FOR H.R.6 (aka The Cheney Energy Bill) in 2005. That bill solved the nuke industry's financing problem BY Guaranteeing that TAXPAYERS would Pay Back those loans in the event of DEFAULT.
The Congressional Budget Office rated those nuke building loans at 50% or greater Risk of DEFAULT.
Senator Clinton voted NO on the Cheney Energy Bill and stated that her Energy Plan does not include Nuclear.
THAT is WHY the "news" in the mass media has been promoting Obama & slamming the Clintons.
Unless you have been able to watch the news a lot every day for the past several months you will be UNAWARE of the EXTREME Deception that is being perpetrated by the media. (Media Matters website has lots of info about it)
Same media that sold too many voters on George Bush. Same media that sold them the Iraq War. SAME REASON: BIG ENERGY RIPOFF. PLANNED by the SAME PERSON who brought U.S. BIG Energy RIPOFF #1 (Enron) AND Big Energy Ripoff #2 (Oil/War Profiteering)...Dick Cheney's Big Energy RIPOFF #3 is just waiting in the wings -and will be perpetrated if either McCain or Obama is elected.
Given that Obama's friend Rezko's trial starts Feb 25th on Bribery, Extortion, and Money-Laundering charges to be prosecuted by Patrick Fitzgerald; and that some of the extorted funds went into Obama's campaign coffers - Obama's involvement with Rezko PUTS the DEMOCRATIC PARTY/USA, (IF Obama is the nominee), in danger of a huge scandal blowing up in Obama's face resulting in the election of McCain.
The Chicago Sun Times has many articles on Obama & Rezko going back over several years that raise many serious questions the Republican Party will not hesitate to make into a vast smear.
I first began researching Obama's background many months ago when I noticed that all the "news" people on FOX -AND- all the "news" people on MSNBC were praising Obama to the skies and slamming the Clintons all day every day.
Amazing to me and I had to ask: WHY are the right-wingers on FOX and the more liberal people on MSNBC singing the praises of/PROMOTING the same Democrat for President?
At first I thought it was simply the Republicans trying to "choose" the Democratic Candidate they thought they were most likely to beat. That factor DOES play a large role in Fox & other right-wingers Selling of Obama, but an even larger factor is Cheney's Big Nuclear Energy Ripoff lurking in the background.
Even in Wisconsin, DEMOCRAT Voters are Voting in EQUAL Numbers for Obama & Clinton. It is Republicans and "independents" who have given Senator Obama enough votes to stay in the race.
Those Republicans & some of those "independents" will not be voting for him in the Presidential election and he will more than likely lose to McCain. (Republican Party strategy, in a year when they had NO HOPE of winning the Presidency,------Republicans "choosing" the Democrat Candidate --- is working).
The Obama campaign says: Abide by the RULES: Florida & Michigan should have NO VOTES because thay violated the Rules and must pay the penalty.
ON THE OTHER HAND: The Obama campaign says: DON"T Abide by the RULES: Super Delegates are supposed to vote according to what is in the best interests of the Democratic Party ... BUT NO .... DO NOT Abide by the Rules ... Vote instead on the basis of the primary votes.
Given that the Republican Party is playing a major role in 'selecting' the Democrat Candidate and will not VOTE for EITHER Candidate, and the ammunition they have for the smear all set to go if Obama is the candidate ... I believe the Super Delegates should abide by the rules and vote for the best candidate with the best chance of winning.
That would be Hillary Clinton. Same candidate that at the start of this year was recognized as the best candidate; same candidate as before "the media" started their smear Hillary, Sell Obama campaign. Same Candidate the majority of voters said they were happy with at the start of this campaign.
